COVID - 19 is a concern for everyone, but our seniors are particularly vulnerable during this difficult time. Home definitely is one of the safest places for you to be right now. We at Veritas Seniors Concierge care for only seniors so have implemented important and creative measures to protect those under our care.
Accessing care at home is a important and available option to keep our seniors safe during these unprecedented times. We have staff who are trained and ready to care for your loved one in their home while monitoring care provided.
We are proud to say we have not had any COVID - 19 cases under our care and will work hard to maintain this.
1. Prior to work, all Caregivers complete a comprehensive series of questions to ensure they are healthy to begin work.
2. On entering your home, staff wash or hand sanitize their hands, then put on a clean mask. Frequent Hand Hygiene is important throughout the visit.
3. A detailed client checklist is completed during the visit to ensure good health, and no signs of COVID-19.
4. Staff practice good infection control practices with supplies provided. Attention is paid to high touch surfaces during the visit. We ensure everyone remains safe using reminders for our staff of good infection control practices and answer any questions that arise specific to your home.
5. Staff abide by COVID - 19 protocols and rules at Supportive Living and Long Term Care facilities we enter.
6. If a staff member shows any symptoms prior to their visit, they will not start work, and will need to self isolate until cleared to return to work. Be assured we have ample staff to ensure we can continue to care for your loved one.
7. We follow Public Health Guidelines and keep up to date in caring for loved.
